Tekrema Center Youth Dance Arts Education Program mission is providing scholarly education, training in dance, literary and the performing arts, and the oral traditions of Louisiana’s Black cultural practices and importantly the Depth of African Diaspora Art and Culture to firmly establish and ensure the continuance of Louisiana’s African American cultural legacies.
