About the event
The Call for Abstracts is for student essay presentations on a specific practice or practices within Louisiana’s African American cultural traditions. Presentations shall be written as research papers and presented as PowerPoint presentations. The winning presentations will receive monetary incentives of $300, $200 and $100. Their presentations will be displayed throughout the conference at its various venues. All participants will be allowed admittance to all conference activities.
